Nurturing Peace & Goodwill Through The Four Immeasurables

December 4, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

DATES HAVE CHANGED:
Thursday: 11/16
Monday: 11/27, 12/4 and 12/11 6:30pm-8:00pm
(no class 11/20)

Do you become stressed and short-tempered during the holiday season? Are you tired of the hustle, bustle and commercialism? Do you feel on edge and ready to explode or depressed and simply trying to survive it? Would you appreciate some time to focus on the positive aspects of the holiday season? Then join us as we take time to nurture our feelings of peace and goodwill for all living beings through meditation on The Four Immeasurables. The Four Immeasurables, which focus on Loving Kindness, Compassion, Abundant Joy and Equanimity, are the cornerstone of the Tibetan Buddhist practice. Meditating on these concepts increases and develops love and compassion for ourselves, our friends and family, as well as our enemies. Join long-time meditator and Tibetan Buddhist practitioner David Drabble as he guides us through each of The Four Immeasurables, highlighting how to use them in generating feelings of peace and goodwill during the holiday season and all year round.
