In her book Radical Compassion\, Tara says – “Trance encloses us in a virtual reality of thoughts and emotionally charged stories. We are at the mercy of unconscious beliefs\, feelings\, and memories that drive our decisions and reactions to life. We feel separate or alone\, threatened\, and/or incomplete.”  Mindfulness is a path out of our trance into our natural presence. We find enough-ness in the simple things – soaking in the sun on our skin\, feeling connected with a loved one\, taking in the beauty of a tree or a flower\, enjoying a meal\, etc. We shift out of stress into the experience of rest and ease in our bodies.
